Gold membership is meant to give me unlimited puzzles right?

No. you have heard about the price increases that went into effect on September 1st?
Those plans cost more but have unlimited puzzles for Gold members.
However, existing members were allowed to keep their existing plans and pricing.
Gold membership did not offer unlimited puzzles under the old plans.

What? This is not true. I bought Gold specifically for the unlimited puzzles and have enjoyed that benefit for a long time. Just logged in after 6 months inactive and now my puzzles are no longer unlimited. What gives?

If the version of your subscription originally included unlimited puzzles and you didn't cancel and start new after September 1st 2022, then you should still have the same benefits. If that is not the case, open a ticket with support and they can verify:

Though, you did 25 today, which matches one of the previous limits on Gold for some subscriptions. Also, your history graph indicates you previously had done around 25 a day (days with more likely included pending puzzles that don't count towards your daily limit)
