Google Chrome and Chess.com

Hello,

I am on a Windows 8 OS using the latest version of Google Chrome. Chess.com does not seem to be working properly for me. I cannot connect to live chess or move in current games.

I do have Ad Blocker installed and am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Thank you,

David.

Do you have the same issue on IE?

Nimzo-Sicilian

Hi jac1yn,

No I do not have the same issues in either Firefox or IE. Though as a web dev, I prefer to use Chrome and use one browser instead of having multi-browsers open.

Tried it without Ad Blocker?

Disable all chrome extensions, clear cache and give it a go then.

Check chrome is updating too. ie: Version 27.0.1453.110 m

Didn't work either. I even uninstalled Chrome and re-installed it.

hmm kinda stumped now then.

You could try this tool (all browsers)

Is harmless and nothing to lose by trying.

Do you have javascript enabled? Are you using windows 8 in app mode or desktop mode (looks like desktop- just want to be sure)?
