No I do not have the same issues in either Firefox or IE. Though as a web dev, I prefer to use Chrome and use one browser instead of having multi-browsers open.
Disable all chrome extensions, clear cache and give it a go then.
Check chrome is updating too. ie: Version 27.0.1453.110 m

Didn't work either. I even uninstalled Chrome and re-installed it.
hmm kinda stumped now then.
You could try this tool (all browsers)
Is harmless and nothing to lose by trying.

Hello,
I am on a Windows 8 OS using the latest version of Google Chrome. Chess.com does not seem to be working properly for me. I cannot connect to live chess or move in current games.
I do have Ad Blocker installed and am wondering if that has anything to do with it.
