HELP! BROKEN KINGS CROWN!
Elmer's School Glue, Elmer's Glue-All, Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue, Titebond, Titebond II, Titebond III, or any other white or yellow PVA glue, will all bond stronger than the wood itself. Be sure to position the broken piece back exactly into its original position, hold it there tight with finger pressure until it sets a bit, and then you can clamp it in place with some masking tape wrapped tightly around it until it's fully cured. Clean up excess glue that pushes out from the joint with a damp rag while it's still wet, because it can be very difficult to remove if you let it dry there.
If it's a clean break you can put a tiny drop of super glue on and press it together with a tight fit so none spills out and this will make the break invisible. If you decide to go with wood glue or something else instead just also try to make sure you don't use so much it squeezes out on the edges and you have to wipe it off or the break will likely show. If it's not a clean break then it's going to show no matter what.
The crown on my black king chipped off during play. What is the best way to repair it back to top performance?! The piece is wood BTW. Any advice or methods would be helpful!!! Thank you community of chess.com
