How do you change/set your status?

Click on "My Home" then, to the right of your picture it should say "my messages", "my points" etc. Directly under that it should say "my status" with a link to change it.
Ah yes thanks! I've since figured it out... firstly that link doesn't appear until you've set your status for the first time. The way to set it for the first time is under vacation settings.
The reason I didn't see it is that for some reason whoever added that option decided to be clever, and instead of simply putting a text field there that's seen immediately when you look at the page, you first have to click on some text to make the text field appear. When skimming through the settings page it's very hard to spot! So... hint there to Eric and the designers!
P.S - If you do happen to see this Eric, something that's been bothering me for a while now; how come when you post messages here on the forums you have to do three line-breaks in order to separate your paragraphs in the submitted message? (i.e. hit the enter key 3 times instead of two).
I've noticed some of the players on my friends list started having these little tag-lines under their username. When I looked at their profile that little tag-line was defined as their "status" and appeared directly under their profile picture.
I scoured the entire site, tried all the various settings, even tried to do a search in the help section, and found no reference to it what-so-ever.
How can I set/change my status as well?
