I've received responses on the same day; three days later; a week later; and sometimes never. I think it depends on what your issue is and their workload at any given time.
Give it a week and then send them another email.

im going through the same thing right now trying to get a year subscription charge i thought was going to be monthly refunded. I sent the original email around december 24, got a follow up email on january 1 basically asking if i was sure i wanted to cancel, and now 11 days after that ive just sent another email yesterday purely to try and bump myself up in the systems or something.
I get that this is my fault for accidentally pocking the yearly button when i meant monthly, and I understand that they get a ton of responses, but $120 is not a small amount of money and Im just getting a little worried

Sending a new ticket doesn't bump you up in the queue. I know staff have been working through a backlog of tickets.
Did you reply to the January 1st email?

I did send a reply the same day I got that email, and i didnt create a new ticket just sent another email to the email that responded to me. Unfortunately still no response.
I understand that theres a lot of tickets for staff to go through, and im not trying to be annoying. Just trying to make sure im doing everything I can to secure this refund soon.
My issue was finally resolved after 15 days of sending daily emails to support@chess.com and the contact us form page.

yessir!! happy for ya!
I am wondering how long it takes to get a response from Chess.com generally? I have sent several emails through their website and directly to support@chess.com but has yet to get a reply. I forgot to cancel my membership after the free trial ended, I am not using the service, and would like the membership to be cancelled and refunded.
