Yes, there is a process to catch accounts posting too quickly or posting repetitive content. In general, most people won't get to that level so isn't really something to worry about. If you find yourself questioning if you are posting too much or too quickly, just slow down some
How many forum topics?

I think posting repetitive content should be the biggest danger...I find myself doing that from time to time in spam forums...

Is there like a limit to how many forum topics you can post at a time? I was just asking because I heard someone got banned because of posting too many at a time or something. Please tell me the number if there is.
Thanks in advance!
Over-posting in the forums generally means posting for the sake of posting which I interpret as spamming at some point. Depending on the nature of the posts, I generally consider >3/day spamming and I'll warn the member so he/she knows understands the reasoning and what to expect. Ignoring the warning will probably result in deletion of threads or even a mute, again depending on circumstances. Nobody has been banned for over-posting, though in those rare cases, their silence -i.e. inability to post- may seem as if they had been.
So, if you want a number, then 3 would be a good and safe one.

Chess.com would prefer that you MERGE all your topics into one thread. That way we can make sense of it.
For a small fee, Elenin Studios can assist you in doing that.
