tldr; a 0.00 score can be super misleading as it may turn out that it actually is a terrible position, it's only 0.00 because with best moves from both players it's a guaranteed draw, but the actual position score if just a few moves, later in the lines, from either player is only the second best moves, then the game will continue without draw but with a massive winning advantage for white (in this case). There should be a way to exclude lines that leads to the draw, or/and at the very least the analysis tool should mark them as such, it's pretty obscure to realize that the "best" 0.00 is actually a draw position if in some cases that is only something that happens 15 moves later. Meaning you have to look at all the 30 moves (2x15 moves) to see the repetition means a draw and THAT is the reason for the "best" score of 0.00. The solution could simply be coloring the line in a certain way, or maybe making the 0.00 score color grey? And if a line was a draw maybe give us the option of letting the tool analyze additional lines to exceed the limit set in the settings.
---- Looking for some advice and help on preventing the computer analysis suggesting a line that if the best moves are chosen will even lead to a position where the final best moves lead to a draw, and the alternate moves to avoid a draw will be worse or MUCH worse than the draw.
As I understand it, for example say you are looking for best moves for blacks turn, the analysis suggest the lines that lead to the draw as the best moves because a score of 0.00 (which would be the score evaluation if it ends in a draw) is a better score than say for example +0.01 and higher; even though +0.01 will NOT lead to a draw but just very very slightly worsen blacks position.
Other times all of the lines chose to analyze will end with a draw, because they are all the best score apparently. Such as the following analysis where Nc6, Qc5, Nxh2 are the three best lines, but all end in a draw if both players keep choosing the best scored moves. For black a draw could be desirable, since they are black they may be ok with a draw, and it could also be for white if they felt that they couldn't win against their opponent anyway. But lets say I want to know what other lines the analysis can come up with, I now have to choose more than 3 lines to analyze, but I won't know this until the fact! So I feel there is a feature lacking in the system here, where I would like to have the draw lines marked as such and possible have them be shown separately so that they don't take up the use of a line as a "best line". https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/pgn/23RfsWmRCi?tab=analysis. . And here screenshot in case you don't have access to the Diamond tier analysis tool, the issue from this position can't be seen in the lower Stockfish analysis tiers):
