How to hide my games?

Hi,

I recently discovered the fact that most people have a pretty nice database of games online. I started preparing for people like that, and it works. They play these things.

I would like my opening preparation to be a secret, but I can't hide my games properly. Is there a function because I can't find anything in the FAQ. And the other topic was not very helpful either.

There is no way to hide your archive and I doubt they'll ever add that.  Sorry.

Mr_Ibiza

Well bye bye chess.com then. Go lichess!

Let me translate that for you.....

"I would like to be able to continue to study other opponents games but not let them see mine"

Bet you are a fun person to be with.

I can understand Mr. Ibiza's thinking.

On Lichess you can choose the privacy of your games. This is just ridiculous, why would I try all my new lines here if all my tournament opponents are waiting for me. Chess.com this does not make sense for someone who likes to become GM.

I love other languages and translations. So yes, from your point I am an asshole. Welcome to top level chess sir we use every scrap of data to beat each other. Glad you understand it at least seniorpatzer.

But I think titled players are allowed to have a second account here, maybe that's the point of it.

Pulpofeira

I've read it many times on the forums, not sure if it is true. Anyway, one could opt for anonimity even being a titled player I suppose.

Pulpofeira

It always does matter at that level.

Is that a Cayenne? If he's really an IM he can't be the owner.

No, an IM would have figured out this difficult question.

What the hell does that even mean? That's like saying "I like weather."
