How to report an abuse?

game is done already and this button didnt exist i have chat past but not his name but i found his name is there something which i can make

Click on settings then report a problem, this will start an email with support. Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible so support can assist you in a timely manner.

If you play chess with a low rated player and all his or her moves seem like that of a grandmaster what can I do? Also I have looked at there profile there no ratings but there score.

Don't bother reporting, I had someone clearly saying he will let time run down for about 3min and laughed. Reported - nothing happend.
I had someone throwing insults. Reported - nothing happend.
And bothered a few times more but hey... like endgame347 said. Block & move on.
I do wonder if it's worth paying for the account. Lessons are fun, extra puzzles but support to such cases. none.

When you say "nothing happened", did the Support person responding to your ticket not inform you about the action that was taken? That's always been my experience. Ofttimes that action will be to speak to that other member about their behaviour such that they understand that if they keep doing it, further sanctions will be applied, which is why reporting is helpful - maybe that report will be "the next time" that leads to stronger action.

In the beginning I reported a few cheaters, pretty obvious when they had a list of 20 to 30 games that where 1 move win...
Then I get a msg that my rating was adjusted because an opponent as hacking / cheating.
The insult reports, with proof from chat, messaging me private - stalking. (learned a new aussie word btw... didn't knew what getting necked was :-) )
Nothing, no response. no status.
I did a post on site suggestion that it would be nice to have a history of the reports made. The status or even to see how many cases are against someone (or yourself?) ... no response on that topic either.
Nope, troll threads or 2000 reply's on "my wife left me because of chess" ...
I know it sounds a bit salty but I really don't see any value anymore in a payed account. Tbh I've been playing more elsewhere now.

He's been a member for 10 years and should know by now how to report abuse anyway.
Uh? 10 years!! Yeah he should know by now.

Whenever you log an Abuse report, the system will automatically send you an acknowledgement email to the email address that you use. If you didn't get any response, that means you may have given the incorrect email or that your email filters have moved it into your Junk folder, in which case the subsequent follow up from the actual Support person will also go there. If you don't see that immediate reply, it's a good idea to check your junk folder and - if there's nothing there - to resubmit your ticket.
Posting suggestions in the forums very rarely draws a response from the Support team: I'm not sure how that informs Chess.com's product roadmap (if at all).

Thx David, but the only way for now that I know is when I click the report button near a player name. You get a pop-up with a set of choices, a small message field and 'send'
I don't get to enter a mailadres. So I'm missing something .. :-S

No, you're not missing anything - that's a more recent method of reporting that uses a different mechanism than the one we've always had through Help --> Report Abuse --> Contact; I'm not sure if it feeds into the same tracking system; I'll ask.
