How to Shut Off Notifications from Games You Started Watching

This is a bit hard to explain but here goes....

I go to the section where you can watch bullet matches between grandmasters.  I watch a bit.  Then I close out, and join a tournament or start a single game myself.

Then, without fail, notices pop up telling me when the players I was just watching start a new match.

Not a big deal except that it resizes my screen and distracts me in the middle of play -- even with focus mode on.

How do I turn this off?  Help, it's driving me insane....

Do you actually close the game when you are done watching?

Also, you could turn off "auto-watch top game" if you live settings. See the cog in the upper right by the board.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, to the first question.  Unfortunately, that setting was already off, so that can't be it either.  So weird....

Are you "following" either of the players?

Watson1892

No, I'm not following them! I had thought of that, but no such luck.  The only thing that 'worked' was to wait till they stopped playing, which took a while.

The only thing I can figure is that when I closed the tab for the game, it didn't register for some reason. But I even logged out, ran a cleaner -- even tried logging back in in cognito, in case that would help.

So weird.  Thanks for trying to help!

That is really strange. Let me know if this keeps happening.
