How to the Higher Ground award/achievement?

I am trying to get the Higher Ground award/achievement which can be received by playing the variant King of the hill (https://www.chess.com/variants/king-of-the-hill).

After playing two games (different days), both won, I didn't get the award.

How to get this award?

did u play rated

oh your using variants server, its a new server in testing ish, use the king of the hill server

My rating shows 1535. I lost the game above (just to try), but I also one two. I didn't see anywhere to change between rated/unrated games.

@duntcare: King of the hill 'server'? Where/how can I select that server?

You only get that by playing KOTH in Live, not Play > Variants

Guess the Play > Variants way, is just 'trying out'/unrated.
