I can't access my recent messages

I can't access my recent messages ... When I click on mesages it takes me back to messages in my inbox 9 months ago and I can only see messages sent to me between 6 and 9 months ago. What the hell? I contacted a few friends here on Chess.com and it seems that I am the only one experiencing this. Anyone else having issues?

hahahahahah   you don't feel her, you feel FOR her. Lets leave sex out of thisWink

(((Giggles))) Oh well I can still see recent mail if I go to sent mail . I guess that'll have to suit me for now

Just a guess here, but I suspect that you have quite a bit of e-mail, and perhaps a large number that are unread. Their algorithm for determining which e-mail to show when you exceed a sufficient size may change at some point, and in fact, their algorithm may have a bug that occurs in this condition.

Recommendation:

1) File a ticket.  (Not sure where this is done, but there should be a way of reporting issues like this).

2) Try deleting some of your older and unwanted messages.

No promises, but if my assumption (really just a guess) is correct, this should resolve the issue - at least until your e-mail queue exceeds the target size again.

3) Sex is always good. No need to leave sex out of it.  Wink

I do receive TONS of mail each day ...I have carpol tunnel from clicking and deleting old /read messages . I wish there was a way to mass delete messages. Gonna try your advice Bill Thanx!

cheeky_chicky

Yeah I get that . But you still have to click on each message that you want deleted . There is no DELETE ALL option ...Like in e mails where one can delete a whole page of messages in 2 clicks >>>> I could be wrong lemme go and check

Since I have not written to you in a couple of months -- there isn't really any need for you to read the emails from 2015.

Did a bit of poking around. Hidden at the bottom of the website is a Help & Support link.  It looks like this (I added the highlighting):

Home | Chess Topics | About | FAQs | Help & Support Site Map  | Help Translate

Privacy Policy | Legal | © 2015 Chess.com • Chess - English

It will eventually lead you to a page with this url:

https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

If you continue to experience trouble, I recommend this route as the best.

Thanks Bill!

Speaking of message-related oddities, I just got a message informing me of this thread's existence today.
