I can't find my friend when I did a search for her username.

If she has joined only today, the member search may not find her yet. Try again tomorrow.

What is her username?

We finally found each other by sending a challenge for a game.

Do you know you friend's login name?

Alternatively, if you are searching by first name or second name, and your friend has not registered these details, obviously such a search would fail.

Are you getting too many matches or no matches?
