I can’t login to my chess.com due to linked account

I've been struggling to unlock my Facebook account because the birthdays don't match up with my ID, and my chess.com account is tied to it, so it doesn't have its own password. The help docs suggest I should either set up a new password via settings or unlink it from Facebook, but I can't do either without logging in. The only device I'm still logged into chess.com on is my iPad, but the app doesn’t offer the options to dissociate the account or create a new password. Is there any way to set up a temporary password? I haven’t found anything like that and really don't want to start over with a new account and transfer my membership. Any advice?

You should use the option in the Help to contact support directly.
