yeah not sure using android no sound at all...sucks...anyone with a fix?
Check your speakers, check your sound icon for all the different sounds.
nothing is wrong with speakers because i had youtube opened up on abother tab and I could hear it fine. Its only on this website
Then check the sound icon in the games.
If the sound icon works on chess.com or it changes then it is your computer. If it does not change then contact staff.
same thing is happening to me every sound works fine except when a piece moves. ive contacted support via e-mail ( no phone #) yesterday and have yet to get a response
Check the Audio Manager Icon on your computer. It controls all the different sounds vs Volume Icon.
Also getting no sound, other sites are ok.
OK...here is solution (for xp but I think it's similar in other windows):
Open Your Control Panel.
Open the Internet Options
Double click on "Internet Options" to open that section of the Control Panel.
Select the "Advanced" Tab
Scroll Down to Multimedia
Deselect the Play Sounds Option.
Apply
Open again
Option called "Play Sounds in Webpages" appears.
Select it...Apply
Voila!

On the home page click on the settings icon on the bottom left. Then click on board and pieces. Then click “play sounds”
I will give you subtitles - "ALL THE PLAYERS HERE ARE CHEATERS". Go play something else, online chess is a dumb game.

On iPad I must have turned off sounds in settings. Works now. Hope this helps.

Samer here, as of today....tried all settings
No sound during game for me either, though I do get the noise for game start and game end.
Fixed.
No sound for me too, on Android; all other games are fine, boardcsound setting on, and if I play computer, all good, but people, only here start and end sound no pieces.

If you're on the Android app, there's a fix coming out soon for sound issues.
Everything for the sound is enabled but I still hear nothing
