I was banned for no reason

Hi everyone,

I was banned in a middle of a game for no reason and of course no explanation. This is my account:

https://www.chess.com/member/parssam

I'm not sure if I have a game that played even intermediate level.

By the way I have never chatted with my opponents, so it can't be because I was being disrespectful, it seems; only possible reason is cheating.

Just move on. Chess.com does pull off [stuff- jbf] like this once in a while.

If you look at the profile you'll see the general reason. You should have received an email on the address associated with the account regarding your options.

If you have questions, you should contact support directly.

The main problem isn't I was banned, I received no explanation (no email except one says "I'm banned" but again nothing else. I can open a new account of course but since I know that I can be banned causelessly, what is the point? I'm paying money for membership, to take a service, I think I deserve at least a short explanation.

There should have been nor information in the email than that.

That explains it and would have included some links

The text says "please click below" and there was no link?

Montaigny

It says "Please click below to set up your new account"

So it offers me to create a new account. And honestly why would Chess.com suggests to create a new account to someone who violated their "Fair Play Policy"?

There is also a link to the fair play rules, or should be unless your email program is stripping them. That can help educate and hopefully prevent the same person from doing the same things again.

Because they hope that you actually love chess and that once you realize that they can detect whatever it was you were doing, you will decide to play without it.

This is the link and all the games are there, you can check and see there is no game in which "Fair Play Policy" is violated.

There are only 8 games that I played last month so you can check all in 2-3 min.

There is no point in appealing to other users and moderators. You do have the right to appeal the decision directly to the Fair Play team.

https://www.chess.com/fair-play reports that they do look at appeals and that to date 0.3% of 39,000 appeals have been granted.

Is it like "shouldn't be talked these type of issues in "Help & Support" section of the forum?

Or if I have to fix everything with directly who is in charge (like "Fair Play team" ) so why there is a "help & support"?

Do you want to see "a support example":

- "I checked your games and in this game your gameplay is suspicious"

I'm appreciated for your responses but please don't forget that you accused me to play with something before checking my games.

Yes. The forum is not the place to make an appeal about cheating. Discussions of the methods of the Fair Play team are not allowed in the main forum. They do allow general discussions about appeals and such in the Cheating Forum club,
