I would guess that the pro-rated refund would be non-existent because your profile says that the membership is dated from last July. I would think they would look at what the monthly charge would have been over that eight month time period and subtract that from the amount you paid. I get a negative number when I run that calculation. ( $99- (8*$14))

The only way to find out for sure is to write to support.

I was a Gold member in July, and upgraded to Diamond on 7 September 2022 (I have the receipts).

Plus the site wasn't useable for two months of this year due to constant server crashes, as you already know.

Like I said, the only way to find out for sure is to apply for the refund.

It looks like your main activity here was puzzles. It looks like you did a ton of puzzles after getting the membership upgrade last September and October but you didn't do any puzzles at all after November 7th and you only played a few games in January, none in February and only one in March.

Sample size of two now.

It doesn't appear that the site's problems had much to do with your membership decision.

/ Be nice to support.

Support is one of the best features of this site, actually.

But no, of course I didn't play due to "unprecedented levels of interest in chess" and the related problems your servers had, a great many complaints concerning which choked both this forum and Site Feedback to overflowing. That's a substantial sample size, which you casually dismissed in your snide reply. What a coincidence, color me shocked.

I am leaving out the many YouTube user comments on the channels your streamers run, there, including GMs. Sample size into the thousands.
