just lost a game on time because the app wouldn't let me move

using the new version of the app and the most recent version of Android on a 2012 Nexus 7. On move 21 I couldn't move my pieces. some showed the dots for available moves, and some didn't. (none of the moves I tried would have put me in to check.) I thought the whole thing had crashed, but my clock ran down for the last ~minute. I'm not too frustrated because this was just a 5-minute blitz game during a study break, but I'm no longer comfortable with the notion of playing longer games. if this had been 30|0 I would be rather displeased.

I'm having problems with ipad on live chess. The opening moves are ok but then I get disconnect reload. Messages then I watch opponents clock wind down, then it announces I lost on time, even tho my clock didn't move. This has been going on for a few weeks making the site unusable so why should I pay. How do I contact management to resolve issue?

Same happening to me just lost five games on time that I would have won what is going on!

That's because the app is a buggy piece of garbage.

I never play games on my mobile for the very same reason, and using the web version is too annoying on my 4 inch screen as the board doesn't fit on my screen, and there is no way to see the other part that is not visible. But since you use a tablet which has a larger screen, I suggest you to try using the web version.

I've had the same issue. I make a move, assume my opponent is thinking about a move but my clock times out. im using a nexus. very annoying chess.com!

The app is very sharty when it comes to live chess I have had the same problem.

Could you please provide a screenshot of your screen? We made adjustments for best experience on N4,N7 and other popular big(>4") screen devices.

same thing...about every other game, a move won't register and my time continues to count. lost a FEW games now because ofthis bug. Garbage.
