Yeah, that seems kinda weird. From what I understand, games usually auto abort if one side doesn't make their first move within the first 20 seconds or so. Are the rules different with 1 min games?
lost game without making a move

I see.
If you haven't already, you should try contacting support directly. You should get some sort of response from Chess.com more quickly than waiting for them to reply on this thread. At the very least, they should be able to restore your lost points.

Idk how, but I was offered a draw the second I matched with someone, and without making a move, I resigned thinking I was going to abort the game. It said I lost... without a single move made. F u c k this app

i abort the game and chess.com deducted my rating and thats totally unfair , i dont wanna play with lower ranking and it deducted my rating , thats totally unfair .....especially i want my rating back (the lost points)...
If you abort too often, as a percentage of recently I games, you lose the ability to abort and any games that starts as rated will be rated, regardless of the game termination type.

You can change your seek settings, but aborting games should be rarely done

How did I lose this game? I didn't see it and when I turned to the screen it said I lost. Isn't this supposed to be an abort?
