messages not working on iPhone?

I have messages in my message folder, but when I try to access them on the iPhone app, all I get is a blank screen (click on messages in the app, goes to the message section but only a blank screen underneath where it says messages). Been this way for weeks
Any suggestions?

I have the latest iPhone update and the latest chess app update. iPhone 6s

Same problem for me on Android.. 2.5 years later

There's a known bug with the current Android version and is fixed on version 4.5.0 which should be available outside of beta soon.
