no friend because when u play from a pc u have two options to move a piece 1 is for drawing arrows and other is for moving or playing a piece

I'd really love for this option to be added to mobile.

Interestingly I just discovered that in the app "analyze this" you can now draw arrows and highlight squares when sharing an image. That is the best I've seen for a mobile app. Seems pretty neat. It might not meet all your needs, but definitely seems like a start!

It would be so easy to add, too. A "draw arrows/highlight squares" button or toggle that switched the user into a draw mode would be so very very welcome.

ngl is it needed though? They added it on pc because there are 2 buttons on a mouse, so it is easily accessible. On mobile, its harder to implement and use, and it is useless too.

I totally disagree. I regularly want to explain a position to someone, and there is no easier way than drawing arrows and highlighting squares. As suggested by @munsami, it could be pretty easily implemented by having a toggle where you could add the arrows and highlights. This is similar to what the Analyze This app does, which I've found very useful.

Is is needed especially for 4 player chess

I think it's simpler to just swipe through the screen to get the arrows drawn and click the legal squares to get the pieces moved (of course you won't be able to move the pieces by swiping the screen anymore but it's just simpler than clicking a toggle button where you might get beaten on time).

I totally agree. I think on ios surely they could just add a button on the side which you could toggle on or off where you’re in drawing mode. It would help so much, plus it’s worth doing to be the first main chess mobile app to implement it! I hope we could see this feature soon!

Agree agree. I want arrows for youtube videos. I can't afford a computer now.

prayaagthakkar

seriously NOTHING works

sounds useful ngl

Is there even any reason why this wouldn’t be implemented as an option? The feature has already been developed. Would love to one day hear from chess.com about this. This needs to be bumped.

Move arrows, not movie arrows.

Agree with @HKPradil
