My opponent won by resignation.

I was playing a game with mfelixraja2006 and suddenly I got a message that he won by my resignation, although I didn't resign. The game id is 491193650. Could you take a look? I don't mind one lost game, but I think there is something fishy about it. Thanks.

I have experienced this also.   However I do not think there is any problem with the system.  More likely that without knowing it you have activated the resign button while playing.

It keeps telling me that I have run out of time. I know that I haven't how do I sort this out?

I have experienced when it was my move, ''someone or something'' did a move in my place and it showed to me that it's opponents turn. When it still actually was mine and I ran out of time altough it didnt show me that my clock was running out but his.

I am 100% positive that I didn't activate the resign button since I was clicking  on the chess board to make my move.

I'm sorry, is it that I'm new to this site or what's the issue here? Why are we all asking questions but there's no responses by chess.com? I just lost a game where I was mate in 2 then opponent resigned but it says I lost. What's the deal?

Are you playing via the app? If you leave the game screen it resigns.

Though, I don't see a recent game that looks like that in your archive

I did leave the app screen to another app but I did not leave the game screen within the chess application itself. Furthermore I have a screenshot of how the game was left for 6 minutes before my opponent resigned. I have emailed support@chess.com and have received the confirmation of receipt.
