Need help deleting / creating new account

I originally joined through fb and it picked up my Game Center name which I didn't even realize was still active, being from 1999 and all. So I changed my name to one that would work since we are only allowed one name change. I thought my first name and last initial would be good forever. *Sigh*. But now I'm divorced and was made to change my name. So that permanent name caused me a lot of pain, not to mention being confusing. I tried to contact support for a possible exception but no one ever emailed me back.
Now I'm remarried, and my old last name is an issue to my new husband. And still causing confusion.
So I'm trying to determine if I'm allowed to delete my old account and start a new one? But I'm on an iPhone (6S+ running unupdated software version 10.2.1). I can't search or find what I need with any regularity. Idk how to even find this again. The website version that used to work from my browser now looks like a mobile version of the webpage. I click old site and it flashes at me for 1/2 a second and goes back to the mobile home.
I don't wanna not be able to play (due to multiple account issues or because of my name), anymore, but idk what to do?

Just delete your account anyway, you can probably open a new one then, if not use another e-mail address to open another account. If you want to keep your records get a months subscription, I think you change your user name then.

After I posted this, I found a forum post that had a link to contacting support. Which was not accessible to me before, since I cannot log in. I'm not even sure I CAN delete my account from my phone, using the app, Safari, or Chrome. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm actually surprised I found this post again at all.
So I sent a request that way. I did receive an acknowledgment email. That's all I got last time, though. :| But I remain hopeful. This is the best chess site!
