New animation when new game start

There is a new animation when a new game started:

A flash of oppnent's setting and rating meet at half way there goes away.
Is there a way to get rid of this? Or does everyone fund of it?
I see that is more of a distraction than anything else; while you are trying to set into the mood, then this flashes across your face..... 

You can disable it in Play under the Settings icon or under Settings > Board and Pieces

I really loved those animations, it was so much fun... but today the animations are gone... !

It was temporarily removed due to a bug with a related feature and should be back when that's fixed.

I am still not able to see the animation... any settings need to be changed ?

It must only be out to a percentage of members.

I have the piece animation setting set to 'off' and these new animations are still showing up? They are ridiculous and distracting. How do I turn them off?

Did you disable the pre/post game animations toggle and save?

I did that, but they're still showing up. Instead of excitement of starting a new chess game, I start enraged.

If you load Play and click the settings icon there does it show the setting off there as well?

I do not see this setting in desktop... Every annoying, especially trying to play bullet

The feature was temporarily removed until the code is fixed so it shows in Settings correctly for those that weren't seeing it.

but it has my friend has it

If that's true, it's only out to a small percentage of members.

Edit: I see it was enabled for a very small subset today
