Uncheck the box you checked to get the notification.
Unfortunately it wasn't a box, it was a thing that popped up on my screen and disappeared after I checked it.

Go to Settings > Notifications and at the very bottom of the page find the text that says Click here to get Chess.com notifications directly in your browser.
Click that link and then say No Thanks to the dialog. I'm not certain that will turn it off, but it might.
If that doesn't work, you'll probably need to turn it off in your browser.

Thanks. I didn't find it at the bottom of the page, but I was able to turn it off in my browser. E-mail notifications work fine for me.
Chess.com gave me an option to have a new way of notifying me when my opponent made a move in a Daily Chess game. I signed up for it, not knowing that it meant getting an annoying thing popping up in the lower right-hand corner of my screen. (I use Chrome as my browser.) Does anyone know how to switch that off and return to the normal setting of being notified by e-mail?
