In the iOS app the error message says "game update failed". Is this a server bug?
No castling possible in custom games?

There's a bug but it appears to be due to the fact the game was created with castling not possible. For some reason the browser thinks it is but the server rejects the move since it's not legal.
Staff are looking into it.
Chess.com does not let me castle in this game although it should be possible. Is castling not possible in custom position games?

It let me select the castling move but when i hit accept i get the red error message about an illegal move and it resets my move and shows me the recent move of my opponent again.
