In live chess the other day, I had a game where my opponent's f-pawn wasn't there, and my d pawn was black (I was white). It was irritating to have to remember the "phantom pawn" and that I wasn't constantly in check.
NO PIECES

Can you specify your browser and operating system? I know Opera has some serious issues with chess.com
I am using Windows XP and was using Internet Explorer version 8.
Since yesterday evening (GMT) I have not been able to see the pieces on the chessboard in the games I am playing, or even see the chess board at all after refreshing page.
As I could not even reply to this forum due to above problems I have installed Firefox and now I can see the chess pieces and reply to forums! I think a new version of ches.com may have been installed yesterday that is not compatible with Internet Explorer version 8, or "something" is stopping pieces from being displayed in Internet Explorer.

Since yesterday all my games are showing the chess boards but no pieces on the board, so I can't play any of my games. This happened before chess.com was shut down for 10 minutes yesterday and after.
When I use the refresh button get "empty screen " - I don't even get a blank chess board. I assume chess.com has been changed is some way. May be no longer works with Internet Explorer? Please help, as I am going to time out on some my games tomorrow. Thanks
