No self analysis of games against bots?

I haven't played against bots much, but decided to do a few games. After my games I like to step through with self analysis and see where I made errors. But there is no way to use self analysis on the games: no magnifying glass button or popup.

What gives? Are we just not allowed to analyze games vs bots, only human opponents?

If you click game review (even if you don't intend to use the game review feature) then there is the self analysis option. So yeah there's not a direct way to do self analysis with an engine after the game, you must first click game review which is a bit inconvenient. Alternatively, you can go to your recent games and click on the analysis there and you can analyze as you would a regular live game
