Hi

Why has my ranking (not grading) suddenly become N/A?

baddogno

Some kind of a bug that they won't bother fixing because we'll all move over to V3 soon.  Not the first time it's been reported.

nitemuse

sounds like you know. Thanks for info and reply !

I drew/won the last three games against players ranked better than I am. Some of them showed a decline in their rating but my rating stayed the same. I expected it to go up. Any reason for the stagnation?

Your last 2 games were unrated.  You can check by bringing them up and clicking on "details".  Don't feel bad, happens all the time around here.

I am new and my tactics rating is 1200 and my lesson rating is 1900. What do you think my true rating would be and am guessing I need to improve my tactics?

Your tactics rating may have some vague correlation with a real world rating, but the chess mentor (Lessons) rating just shows how good a student you are.  It was designed to make you feel good about yourself as you progress through the lessons and that's about it.  Doesn't mean the lessons aren't a wonderful tool for improving; just don't take your 1900 rating seriously.

This sounds like Sunday morning politicians who never answer the question!  Out of all of the people playing on Chess.com,  where do I stand - first? - last? - and how do I figure it out?

Just look at your stats -- this is your Daily ranking, for example:
