.pgn files can be opened with any simple text editor. (If you're using windows that would mean Notepad. If you're using a mac that would mean TextEdit.)
When you've opened the file you can copy and paste the PGN into a live chess analysis board. When you're in live chess click new game, and under the time options there should be an option that says analysis.

I am not good with computers and do not understand how to use the pgn files that are free for download in the downlaods forum.
I would like to have a look at fischer's 60 games and Danny Rench's 7/10 games but when I click on the file my computer is sent to another website.
Are these files safe???
