Play is Restricted?

Hi, I'm curious to know why my play is restricted when I resigned a match due to the person just toying with me, and another person just not moving for 9 minutes. I didn't abort any games that I know of. I resigned because it was pointless to sit and wait for them to come back. Yet my play is restricted?

This can't be true! Chess.com's system for restricting play is flawless and completely fair!

I had been playing 1o minute games. However when I next played, I noticed it was 15 minutes, and then after playing it indicated when I attempted to play a ten minure game I could not play because I was in a tournamaent. How can I rectify this?

You're restricted because of your resignations. Live-chess has automated systems to minimise time-wasting, abuse and numerous other things.

Exactly! Next time don't resign, keep playing even if you are completely lost.

WRONG! Playing a completely lost position is much worse than resigning (unless you think you can pull out a win/draw on time)

He's already getting restricted play for resigning! Keep playing!

i highly doubt that resigning in completely lost positions is causing restrictions on his play. It is most likely resigning too early in the game. Don't play on in a lost position, THAT is a waste of time.
