Premium purchase issues

It s already been 3 days since i bought the diamond subscription. I have the receipt but it still says that i m a standard member and the website asks me to upgrade. I have a written a complaint on this regard but all I ve got was an automatic forward. I ve also seen that this has happened to many others so I m lead to think that Chess.com treats its customers in a very unprofessional way. Please solve this issue and keep in mind that there are other chess websites that pay more attention to their customers.

Purchases from the apps require some additional steps, especially if the email associated with the app store and the chess.com account are different.

 

Billing staff have a backlog of tickets due to increases in memberships and support requests. They will get to your ticket and apply the membership to your account, it will just take a little longer.

I have no idea how much backlog they have now. Right after the holidays it was 10-12 days but I would imagine that has decreased by now. Maybe around a week?

Dude it s already been a week since i received the aitomatic forward from suppport. How's the backlog status and when are they able to help me out?

It's very possible they are still at the 10-12 days mark. I would expect they will get you taken care of by the end of the week.

As you said, Brenda wrote back to me but in the email she mentioned that she couldn t open the screenshot i sent to support. I ve sent another one today but does that mean i have to wait another 10 days until she writes back?

No, you shouldn't need to if you replied to the message from Brenda with the screenshot.

I paid for gold.  Got nothing.  Upgraded to Platinum. Got nothing.  Upgraded to Diamond.  Still nothing, but a prompt to start a free trial.  I opened a ticket.  crickets... It feels like a scam at this point.  Chess.com give me my money back or I'm starting a class action lawsuit.   This is total BS.

As mentioned, app purchases take some additional steps. But since you have a ticket, you will get taken care of, but it could take up to 12 days due to the number of tickets and a backlog.
