The rotation option doesn't come up. But why do I have to do this anyway. it's only this site I have trouble with. Facebook and Twitter is fine.

You have to rotate locally on your device, not on the site.

Looks right to me now.
The easiest solution is to crop the image into a square using a editor. No flipping is guaranteed
