Question about Rating after losing to a cheater

So I lost about 100 rating points to a clear cheater that is like 115-3 and is almost 2000 rated now, yet he's terrible in rapid with a record of like 26-11, with a rating of like 600. Clearly this guy is a cheater, so my question is if I don't play another game, do I get all my rating points back?

It depends, but if an account is closed for fair play violations, there are rating refunds in the pools they were closed for, but there are some limits.

Cool, but the link doesn't really specify the limits of the rating refund.

Ah, I thought the following section was in that:

Ah ok, thanks. I'm genuinely curious to see what happens if I don't play another game lol. One would think they would restore all the points I lost to this player.

So they finally banned that cheaters account. I lost 79 points to the guy. I did not play another game since then to test what the rating refund would be. They only gave me 50 points back. Lol makes no sense but ok I guess.
