me again. so i added (http) chess.com to "exception" list but it still woun't work giving this message "This application was blocked even though the host of the file at http;www.chess.com/play/computer is included in the Exception list because the application refers to resources on multiple domains. The jnlp file at http://cssjs.chesscomfiles.com/assets/java/vscomp/chessApplet.jnlp is a different domain and not also included on the Exception Site list". ??????????

hi - new member, fist post: everything was working ok but then i upgraded my java to 7 and now the chess board woun't appear, saying "your security setting have blocked an application from running with an ou-of-date or expired version of Java" and when i try to add chess.com to the java security "exception" list, it says not o because url sites with only "http" should not be trusted anymore and so i should only allow sites with a "https" designation. so what's with that? i've windows xp, int. explorer, i've cleaned my caches, read some comments from people that say i should switch to a different browser and i guess i could just go back to an earlier version of java but i'm just wondering about everything now. is "http"//www.chess.com, not safe?
