For whatever it's worth, I just saw that note too, so at least now you have one witness. That guy should be banned.

often you can hit the Print Screen/SysRq key on the top of the keyboard and then paste the image to a Microsoft Word file. That usually works for me.
BTW: one of my early efforts on Chess.com was met with some gratuitous insults by some Swedish character. My complaint got results from the administrators.
They get warnings or (if they went too far) zapped.
Pressing the Alt key while pressing the PrtSc key will take a snapshot of just the active window. It makes for a smaller file and doesn't reveal anything unnecessary.
Actually, press "Alt" at the same time as "Prt Sc/SysRq" [Alt + Prt Sc] This will copy the active window to clipboard after which you can paste it into your favorite imaging application to save it.
One thing struck me. While you complained because of the racial slur (slurs of all kind I find reprehensible), it was private at least. Here you published the slur in a public forum. Though I understand, or hope at any rate, your intentions are not in the least malicious, publishing such things openly do tend to validate them [and at the same time devaluing your very complaint], however unintentionally, by making them seem acceptable, even in the context of a complaint. Anyway, that was just a thought I had.
FYI - microsoft windows 7 has a "snipping tool" under accessories that lets you drag a box and do a screen caputer of just that box.

I recently had a game with a guy who left with 5 mins to go and one move from his checkmate. So i posted on his note spot "nice job losing". It really irritates me when they abandon and I have to wait. there is a resign button.
He posted on my site "you talk too much.... nigger"
His name is Levile.
This shouldn't be acceptable in any book!

I am pretty sick of people abandoning games when they have lost and having to sit there and wait.

Oh come on. Satom is not black. I think the world needs more tolerance. I do not think this member's account should be closed. For what it's worth, I think this is much ado about nothing.

I have noticed that occasionally black people call eachother the 'N' word. Was the offender black or white? Would it even matter?
Don't forget the International nature of this website. Words have totally different meanings depending on locale. Take the word FAG for instance:

I don't mean to hijack this forum, but since the initial problem seems to have been solved, maybe it is OK to veer off on this related tangent? Why does reporting the private abuse publicly dignify it? I am not sure that I agree that it does dignify it.
