The problem seems to be corrected. The randomness is working again.
Random white black play against computer not working
Still broken. I've play over ten games in a row with 'random' and always ended up playing the same color.

I noticed this recently too. Choosing "random" against the bot results in me getting the white pieces repeatedly.

Still not working... One has to pick a different color, and then hit "random" for it to work; that's super annoying - and weird that such a simple feature doesn't work as expected for a site like chess.com.

The random setting doesn't stick; instead it will go to whatever color the "random" setting gave you last. I'd like this setting to stay on random until I switch it manually.
I can set it to random, but:
1)
I can see on the board what colour it has chosen for me, so I could just hit "random" again until I get what I want.
2)
When I go back to play another bot game, the control has "reset" itself to either black or white, just as the time controls have reset. So I'll have to set it to random again, but — again — it's not really random, as I can see beforehand what colour I'll get. And I also have to set the time controls again.
This is so poor for a paid service.

Yes!! exactly
When playing against computer, if you choose "I Play As" "Random" (white/black), it never changes, it is either always black or always white. It should change randomly (white/black) from game to game. Can you fix it? Thanks.
