Save games against the computer?

Is it possible to save the games played against an computer for later analysis?

I often play games against the computer in a free minute but i want to analyse them later when I have more time... but i don't find a button or a menu where to save the games

Click on Games, and you will see the games you have played.

that only shows the online games against other players, not the ones against the computer

It should also show the games you have played against the engine, but you havent played any games yet.  Play the engine, and see if it shows up.

i did... i played several games and even analyzed most of them afterwards.
many with my phone, some of them even today on the computer.
none of them shows up in the history

The games vs the Computer (not the site computer accounts in Live) are not saved in your archive.

In the game menu on the app, you can Share PGN to keep a copy of the game though. There is a similar option on the website. You would just need to store it somwhere.

ah... so sharing does not only mean to share on internet but to save on a lokal drive as well...
i was afraid to hit that button as some quick games are too bad to be proud of and share with others

There is no "save on disc" option...

On my android phone I found the option to share with my samsung cloud, so that is some kind of harddisk where I can recover the games... but when playing with OS-X, that option is not there...

On the browser, you want the download icon at the bottom of the game. I'm on mobile right now, so can't check, but I think the tool-tip is still Share.

i just checked the files that were written to my phone when "sharing".

instead of .pgn files, it only stored the same "computer.txt" (overwriting it with each new game), but instead of a game it is an empty file...

why the hell is it that difficult to get games stored?
on every other chess app I had till now it was a simple button click...

some of them even provided a history for easy retrieval (as here with games against humans).

why are computer games treated differently to online games?

now I tried all possibilities to share the game when playing on my phone (the download button does not exist there)... via Google Drive, Samsung Cloud Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Whatsapp... it always just stores the text "Computer" instead of the game.

You mean on the app? I just shared from Android with no issues.

i have an galaxy s9+ so android as well.

whatsapp seems to work now (but it inserts the game as text instead of sending a png file)
the rest still does not work, my saved games are all empty files except the word "computer" in them

This is possible!

Steps:

1. download a png file (save a game)
2. learn - analysis - load pgn
3. paste the contents of the pgn file - press 'load'
4. press 'finish vs computer' - the game against a computer will continue.

If you want to see games played against the computer in your archive:: then go Play. Live games . Custom Challenge . then choose player and type in computer. You can then select computer 1 2 3 etc.

It is pretty easy. If above mentioned things are not working then you can copy PGN contents and save in a file.

But why isn't any of the "vs Computer" games saved at all? Not even on device or locally on the app? I was so disappointed when I had a good game with Computer, and I even performed my analysis on it, using up my Analysis credit! But before I could walk myself through the analysis and learn from it, I accidentally closed the game. I searched everywhere both in the app and the website for this game or this analysis, but I couldn't find it anywhere at all!

Now I feel so dumb for not having to foresight to save the PGN and for wasting my analysis credit on a game I cannot find anywhere! This is some punishing BS. All analyzed games should be accessible somewhere, to ensure our Analysis credits aren't wasted on games that are lost forever!!!

I had a draw against and I can not find it.

This is seriously a joke. How do they not save games played against the bot?
