Screen really zoomed in

When I try to play any game the screen is zoomed in was too far, when I log off it's fine. It was fine until the last update. I uninstalled it and re-installed it but it's still broke. Help?

Are you on the iOS app? I think the last update had a fix for the newer iPads that is causing an issue.

One person suggested loading the phone version as a temporary workaround.

Hi Yoshiboy!

If Martin's suggestion fails, mail me your IOS version and I'll get you fixed up.  Often updating your IOS will fix this!

I am experiencing The same issue, but I cannot update iOS as the new versión would not run well in my Old iPad 2. Please help.

iOS 7.1.2 on ipad 2 has this bug. I don't update be cause new versions of iOS turn old devices really slow.

Yes. Please don't make older iPad users update the iOS to make this bug go away. There is most certainly a fix, since it appears to just be a screen resizing issue. Making users update to a newer iOS that slows all other apps on our devices would set a bad precedent. Thanks!

Here are two iPad screen grabs of what the board looks like. There is no way to resize the board that I could find in the iPad app.

I have this same issue. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times but issue persists. I’m on iPhone 12 Pro latest iOS version 14.4.2

I have iOS 14.4.2 and an iPhone 12pro as well. Reinstalling does not cure this issue. Please advise.

I have reported to staff.

Seems to only affect users that have enabled “zoom” mode in iOS settings.
settings->display and brightness->display zoom

i Set back to standard which resolved the issue. But it does mean that the latest version of chess.com app on iOS doesn’t support zoom display settings

I was just reading up on that. I'll suggest it to other posts and refer to staff.

If having the game app on ios, you can turn off  the zoom mode by tapping settings > Accessibility > Zoom. If no change, try to update the app and iOS. And I know there is another ios tool which can help you fix the issue.

Last I heard, it was still in the roadmap to he fixed, but hasn't been done. At one point it was delayed due to a major change required by Apple.

Check your browser zoom level.

Also, what browser and version?
