Server side connection problems

I was wondering if perhaps it was just me, but apparently it's a very common problem with chess.com : https://www.trustpilot.com/review/chess.com

Quit a few times I day I 'lose connection' to the chess.com servers during a game. On occasion several times in the same game. If I'm lucky, I get a message; if I'm unlucky I just think my opponent is afk and after a while I get the message I lost due to abandoning the game.
It's only chess.com. [another site -- VP] is fine, my music streams are fine, everything else stays connected just fine.
It can be pretty frustrating to 'abandon' a game you were really invested in.
If you have a lot of other traffic on your device or network, that can impact your connection to the live server and potentially cause the client to drop packets and resend data.

My connection is fine, it's either the chess.com servers or somewhere along the way. The fact that so many other people experience the same problems only confirms it.

The problem is that THOUSANDS OF GAMES are played at once. Obviously sometimes there is going to be a connection problem.

Why is that obvious? Chess does not require a lot of bandwidth. More importantly, other - and even free - chess sites with similar loads are managing it without any issues.
