signed up for membership-not working


Relax,....its the weekend. Not many payments get processed on the weekend due to banking hrs.
My payment WAS processed. Thats the whole point.

They still haven’t fixed this problem. I’m starting to question if this is a bug or intentional. Users pay to upgrade on their iphones, Apple takes its cut, users can’t get access to the advertised benefits so they go directly to chess.com...from there some (like me) sign up directly and end up with two paid memberships for same account (yeah, you can do that), or end up ultimately giving credit card directly to chess.com for paid membership and cutting Apple out of the picture.

There is not a direct link from the app stores to the membership system, so staff have to manually apply the memberships to the accounts when purchased through the apps.
You just have to wait until staff apply the credit.

I'm now having a similar problem. I paid $40 for the 1 year gold membership in May and now my membership is cancelled. I have the transaction screenshot and I tried emailing them 3x no response... features are worth it but not if I'm only getting a third of the length i paid for....smh. switch to another site much better

I'd appreciate that. I understand that support probably get lots of emails but they haven't even bothered sending me a response. I don't mind waiting, if it means I can get a refund or my subscription back, but it makes it worse when you don't hear back at all. Feels like I got scammed. :/ Thank you for the help !

Did you email them or did you go through Help --> Billing Issues? With the latter method, you'll actually get an automated reply to the email you give them so you know that they've got the correct email and it's not being sent to your junk folder. The Billing Team will then contact you through that email to help you out.

For the people who paid for a membership but it isn’t working, please try what @david recommended to me and go through Help —> Billing. I was able to resolve my issue (earlier in thread^^) with that method. @eggerjeffrey perhaps the Help section will be of better help. From past experience, I doubt moderators check on forums often.

The account you just posted with has a diamond membership. The account @chessmaster hasn't been active in over 7 years and is closed.

I also have the same problem. I contacted support but no answer yet. If I press the upgrade button it says that I already have the membership despite not getting the perks.

i got the platinum 1 year membership and after about a month and a few weeks i checked and it sayed i had the basic membetship???
Like a problem with the payment.
