slow loading times

Chess.com has had unbearable loading times past few days for me, tried to comment here so many times only to get frustrated, has anyone else had any problems. I'm using firefox and i've done all things I can think of like clearing cache running in safe mode. It's same slow in explorer and chrome anyway...

I used to experience it, but now it's ok.

I've just done a complete re-install of firefox and tweaked my internet settings, seems to be ok now. Must of been something I changed in about:config or one of my addons. Thanks for the replies.

 I had the same problem, started a thread on it earlier.  It's back to normal for me now too, but I don't think it's because it's because of anything I did, since it was still running slow after I cleared my cache etc.

I suspect the problem has sorted itself out while you were off doing things to try and fix it.  However, i've found it has been coming and going over the last few days so this may just be a lull. 

I assume England and Scotland both filter through the same server.

Ok things are pretty slow again, then they speed up but sometimes unbearable. Maybe only Britain affected?

 Me too as of yesterday. Site comes right up but game will take for ever if at all to load???

It's been pretty slow for a day or two, especially this afternoon. Enough for me not to bother with my moves for a while

Yeah, I'm having this also. I know that it isn't my connection, as it's saying it's as fast as it could be and other sites are fine.

Site is really really slow loading for me today. No matter what page I try to bring up.

It is ridiculously slow right now, this is ruining my enjoyment of the site.  If it continues I will be cancelling my membership.

today is the first time ive ever had this problem. Cant make a move yet i have 100 people waiting for me! guess ill blog and be flogged! The staff has been great and the problem will be fixed.

Just echoing what many others say - things are unusually slow here today - the worst I've experienced. Just for your info..........

The site is unusable. I can't say how long it look to load this forum post but I know I've listened to half an ablum in that time...

I've had periods of long loading times (mainly loading my online games) as well,  it is a little annoying.  in this fast paced world we need everything at a click of a botton especially chess games
