Source code option in blog tool

I'm trying to create internal jump links in a blog post, from a numbered list of topics to the corresponding sections about each topic lower down in the post. But I don't see any source code icon in the blog tool. I see one here -- to the right of the full screen icon -- but not when I'm writing my blog post. So is there a way to add html without it showing up as regular text? Thanks.

There was but it was removed years ago. The editor clears out any HTML functions other than those approved.

Thanks, notmtwain. I was wondering if I needed to do something -- like switch browsers -- to get that icon to appear.  But I guess not.  Thanks for your help.

In my blog editor, I have a button to write in "source code" -- circled in red below:

this no longer exists, only for announcements: maybe it's a staff-only thing now?

and I know it's almost 4 years later lol, but it would be really useful to have it back

I have the same issue -- I want to post come python code but treating each line as a separate HTML paragraph is obviously wrong. In HTML I'd surround it all with a <pre> ... </pre>.
