Spectating

Hi, so I have a problem where in the mobile app on IOS my friend shows up as online fine, but when he starts a game I can't spectate him, his online status is still green instead of red as if he isn't even in a game. It works fine on PC or in phone browser but I can't get it to work on the phone app, reinstalled the app and such already. If anyone has a solution thanks in advance.

Yup same problem, it’s frustrating to always open in the browser to spectate.

the menu looks a bit different but clicking ”playing now” will allow you to look for friends playing

Edit2: Yeah this actually gives an infinite loading screen so spectating seems to be impossible on ios

Yep I figured it out in the meantime, you go to the watch button on the bottom right in the app, then scroll to the playing now segment and expand it and then at the top of the screen you can see the friends partition. From there when any of my friends are in a live game I can spectate without a problem. Hope this helps you too.

Edit: I see that is the method from the video but I figured it out lol it worked for me a few times tried it again now it doesn't function lol.
