Spell Check not working?

The spell checker doesn't seme to be working for posts to a forum such as this one. It didn't catcht any of the mispelings in this post.

checking loading seem catch mispellings :):):):):);)

It's not been working for a few days now.

Does any chess.com staff ever answer this type of posting (ie one addressing a problem)?

I find--if you're a terrible speller like me--it's easy to copy/paste your message into a blank email and then fix the spelling errors there. Then just put the revised copy back into the forum and post.

Fortunately, Firefox's built-in spell checker is still working for me.

Unfortunately, my iPads is also still working.

over a month now and it is still not working

i did it i know how to you right click the word or words then click check spelling!!!!!

the spell checker should work or they should remove it. when you spell cat kkat and it says no mispelling found that is pretty bad

are you even sure they have a spell checking thingy???

yes. it used to work. just click on the little blue checkmark that says ABC icon. next to the font size to the right

You would think that one of the staff would at least have the courtesy to address this issue specially since it is posted in the "Help & Support" forum. At least tell us they are aware of it. I first posted this two months ago and still nothing.

There's no guarantee the staff will see this thread. Has anyone tried contacting them directly?

maybe they are too busy working on the new platform that keeping this one working is not high on the to do list
