Stalemates

Sometimes I have a player against the ropes, I'm taking their pieces, the enemy is running and BOOM! Stalemate, tie.... even though I was dominating. What constitutes a stalemate? I hate them

A stalemate is when the person whose move it is has no legal moves and their king is not in check.

Stalemate is when your opponent has no legal moves but is not in check. By the rules it is considered a draw.
