@PinkUnicorn2000 It's the streak system that has some faults. If you just start a game with a bot and play the first move, the streak day is added. But, many players, like my friends, just played the first move and left the game. Whereas in Duolingo, if you don't complete a lesson, the streak day won't be added. I think that's what's being added to it.

Weird that this didnt happen to me until yesterday even though its been a year
i had a streak not a huge one 60 days or something i broke it and now i dont see a new daystreak i see there are problems with this feature for almost a year now do we know whats going on?

Hello! The Streaks feature has been removed from the platform for now.
I had streaks more than 300+ days of playing a game in day. Now, it is gone and not showing. I'm wondering why😑

In short: the reason is to improve the feature. We'll get there! Hang in with us. 🙂
I dont mean to be rude in any way but this has kinda been the explanation since last year does it actually take a year to improve a feature that was already working and is still working perfectly for some people?

I used to have it, but then it disappeared, and then it reappeared again, but now it isn't there anymore, again. I understand that it is like a/b testing where some people don't get the feature, but I don't understand why it could randomly disappear.

If you read post #32, a Chess.com staff member, CSchumacher, says:
"The Streaks feature has been removed from the platform for now."
