What makes you think it's not valid on the apps?

I have activated the Gold membership via website as annual subscription, thinking to use the membership both on mobileapp and website.
I have then realized that my membership was only valid on the website (no message was explaining that while paying), then I downgrade my subscription trying to upgrade on mobile app but it tells me that I can't do it before my plan expires (then feb. 2019).
Can you please let me know if someone has experienced the same issue? I have alraedy contacted the support team.
I want to know if:
- I can receive my money back as per 30-days money back policy
- I can upgrade my account on mobileapp without waiting the expiration of the previous membership subscription?

The membership is valid on all supported platforms including the Android app and the Apple app. If you don't see the gold membership in the app, please sign out and sign back in.

But then my membership can only be accessed on the Website, but the prices are different why so? On the app its only like $3 a month but on the Website its like $10
