Temporary disconnection = Resignation?

Hello!

Please take a look at this live chess game: http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=692361117 Smile

I had temporary problems with my Internet connection, but was able to reconnect in about minute or two. The time control was 10 min. However the game ended by "my resignation". Surprised I am absolutely sure I didn't resign :) Who could resign for me and why this has happened?

Thank you!

NightKingx

because a lot of pathetic losers disconnect when they are losing instead of resigning, you auto resigned when disconnected as if you were one of them.

Well, I think chess.com support should tune up a little bit this algorithm Innocent Even the most "pathetic loser" on Earth would not disconnect intentionally after move № 2 Laughing (I hope so..)

In this game (which I started right after the one mentioned above) I also had a bad disconnection and couldn't reconnect (let my Internet provider burn in Hell Yell) the result is more logical: "lost - game abandoned".

So, why the 1st game was resigned and I wasn't given a couple-of-minutes-chance to reconnect? Smile

yes, they should upgrade some things in the site, but I am afraid it was resigned because the reason I said. Too much time disconected

Once again a temp. disconnection turned into resignation (after move № 8). http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=696704756

I was able to reconnect in about 2 min. however the server resigned the game for me.

I hope someone will pay attention to this bug.

Again today I lost four games. It's NOT possible lose a game for a simple disconnection and in addiction I got an ADSL line enough weak. Simply it's a bug of the web site when next to saturation.

It should better to give a draw o null game instead a resign.
