The board was set up wrong, I'm not drunk

Here's the game: http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=1046447417

I played black. From the beginning the knight on a1 was showing as BLACK. I started playing, not noticing that my own knight on g8 is not there, tha field was empty. During the game I tried to move my king to g8 (which looked empty as I said) but wasn't able to do so. So I played what I could. Later on the opp played the move which I would have defended with that missing knight, leading me to believe the opp also saw the same defective board. We decided on a draw after short discussion.

Now I'm looking that that game in my archive and pieces are where they belong, all looks fine, and I see why I couldn't move to g8. Can you figure out what happened here?

I'm not drunk, blind or crazy (well, some would argue this last point:)

Well, nothing seems wrong to me. Report this to staff if you think it was really wrongly setup.

I know it looks good now, after the game. During the game the black knight was showing up on the wrong side of the board. Report to whom? I thought this is the place to report issues?

This happened to me once. One of my pieces appeared to be on my opponent's back rank, and his piece was seemingly missing. I aborted the game and refreshed the page then everything was fine.

AHA! So if anyone ever tries to fix this issue, here's a hint: during the game the board was behaving correctly. What I mean, the game behaved as if all the pieces were at the right place. It was the presentation that was wrong, the piece APPEARED to be on the right position on the WRONG side. And it seems we both saw it, although I can't confirm because I didn't ask my partner directly what he sees. I'm just judging by his offer of draw in a seemengly winning position.

In any case, is this the right place to report this?
